Boardwalk Go Green in 2015

Founded by the directors of The Letting Game, we are a new, independent estate agent with experienced staff and with our establishment running in conjunction with Bristol being awarded European Green Capital 2015, our aim is to become the most eco-friendly Bristol estate agent. In order to achieve this we are launching a new initiative in association with Trees for Cities. Running until July, Boardwalk will plant 15 trees in Bristol for every we sell. By doing this we hope to offset the oversized carbon footprint in this busy industry, whilst also working with local people to make a greener urban environement.

As a Pledge Member of Bristol’s Green City 2015 and a supporter of the Go Green Scheme, we will also be looking at other ways to help. We aim to go paper free where possible, emailing details to buyers prior to viewings and bringing iPads along for our reference as opposed to heaps of scrap paper and getting forms e-signed rather than sent out on paper. What paper we do use will be mostly recycled and we will recycle ourselves again. At our headquarters in Henleaze, we are supporting Bristol’s ‘Close the Door’ campaign. We are also looking in to where else we can recycle such as recycled materials for our ‘For Sale’ and ‘Sold’ boards. In Refashioning Estate Agency in Bristol, we aim to do more to make Bristol greener.
