If you live in Bristol you already know what a great city it is. However with it's rich historical past, did you know it also has a darker side of ghostly sightings and strange occurrences, just waiting to be discovered.
This time of year is all about donning your best spooky outfit and heading out to the local pub, Halloween party or trick or treating 'responsibly' with friends.
For something a little different, we like the idea of the Haunted and Hidden walking tour of Bristol.
Every Friday night at 8pm with a planned Halloween special.
The route takes in some of Bristol's darker and creepier historical venues along with film and TV locations. It delivers historical fact and TV and film trivia with a good dose of humour.
The Haunted and Hidden Ghost walk includes:
- Hear about Clifton's ghostly Dwarf Highwayman
- See Bristol's famous haunted cinema
- Visit a 16th century haunted house
- Hear about a church and it's ghostly monk
- See where a cook chased a ghost
- Visit TV and film locations and many fun and interesting sites
The tour has been featured on Living TVs Most Haunted and the Source and has been entertaining those brave enough to join the walk for the last 10 years.
Departs Bristol Cathedral, College Green - Every Friday night at 8pm. For further information and to make a booking go to Haunted and Hidden Ghost Walk
You may never look at parts of Bristol the same again!
