We first set eyes on one of Penroe and King's masterpieces at interior designer Helen Wards home in Knowle. A dark, moody, beautifully simple kitchen that stood out a mile from anything we had ever seen before (and we see a lot of kitchens).

Friends from Mountain Biking days, founders Murray and George have been creating some of the city's most desirable kitchens and cabinetry since 2018. We absolutely love it when you see the synergy between maker and client; never more evident than their Retro kitchen project in Merrywood road in Southville. Bright colours, incredible attention to detail and bursting with joy.

We started Penroe and King in Bristol to create kitchen and furniture design projects that we'd want to see in our own homes.

Our unique kitchen and furniture designs aim to enhance the way people use their homes. From initial concepts to consulting on materials and finishes, collaboration is key.

Where possible, everything from the foundations to the finishing details of each kitchen and furniture design project is handmade in our Bristol workshop.
