Dave Bain: Boardwalk x Windmill Hill Market

For this year’s Windmill Hill Market, we’re offering a stall to a different local creative each month — completely free of charge. We’re passionate about supporting our city’s creative community, and we’re delighted to be partnering with Windmill Hill City Farm to give artists and makers the opportunity to sell their wonderful work at the market.
We commissioned our friend and artist Dave Bain to paint the stall, and he delivered a beautiful, vibrant design using abstract shapes and shades of pink. Dave worked closely with us to create a design that would work for all the different creatives who will use the stall, while also reflecting the lively atmosphere of the farm and the market itself. We couldn't be more pleased with the outcome and we hope it brings a smile to anyone passing through.
Dave Bain is an artist, illustrator and muralist creating bold, expressive work using shapes, colour, characters and playful visual elements.
