Founded by Tristan Merriam, Doghead Designs is a unique furniture store and design studio in Clevedon, North Somerset.
Tristan’s ethos champions personality, creativity, and interiors that feel unmistakably ‘you’. His store is a celebration of local artists and makers, alongside his own statement furniture pieces and original artwork.

In quiet defiance of mass-produced, fast interiors, Tristan takes pride in sourcing and reinventing pre-loved furniture. Using specialist paint techniques, he transforms quality pieces into one-of-a-kind works of art, adding his own layer of craftsmanship onto each creation.
At the heart of Tristan’s work is a desire to help people fall in love with their homes. He sees statement furniture as art– if you’re brave enough to hang paintings on your walls then you’re brave enough to embrace a hand-painted sideboard.
