Seitan’s Corner’s “Talk Turk'y To Me” burger:

Vegan turkey fillet dunked in gravy, caramelised onion and sage stuffing patty, leek and brussels hash, nutmeg infused bread sauce, spiced cranberry sauce, pickled red onions, topped with two no pigs in blankets.

Haydn Locker, Head Chef of Seitan’s Corner, explains why the “Turk Turk’y To Me” burger should take the burger champion this Christmas. “I wanted to encapsulate the flavours that remind me of Christmas but in a 100% vegan package without the sacrifice. Most Christmas sandwiches/burgers are normally just the standard ingredients with a bit of cranberry sauce in; I wanted to create something you bite into, and jingle bells practically starts playing in your head.”

 

Asado’s “Asado Christmas Burger”:

West country cheddar cheese pork stuffing patty, pulled turkey, brie, smoked bacon cranberry sauce, rocket, and garlic mayo.

Owner and chef of Asado, Lucian Gordon, explains why the “Asado Christmas Burger” should be the winner this Christmas. “Arguably, the best part of Christmas is the Boxing Day sandwiches made from leftovers after the big day. This was the inspiration behind our festive burger; encompassing all the succulent meats, cheeses and festive condiments from your Christmas feast and compiling them into one big, delicious bite.”
