Our Seller Says…
Fenton Road is a lovely road to live on. As it is quite small, there is a real sense of community. There have been equipment loans, plants gifted, street parties and we even took part in a relay marathon to raise money for charity. The fact that it is a cul-de-sac, with the allotments at the end, makes it very safe for children and cats alike! The location is great, we regularly visit the greengrocers, butchers and bakers up and down Gloucester Road. There are also too many cafes, pubs and restaurants to visit them all, but we have tried! When we modernised the house, we tried to do everything to a high standard. The house was rewired (including with CAT6 cabling), had a new boiler and we had a handmade kitchen put in, as well as plastering and redecorating. My favourite room is the living/kitchen/dining room, we spend about 80% of our time in this room, it has a nice view over the garden, and it's great when you have people over. I'm going to miss the garden - we spend a lot of time here in the summer and we love that it's so secluded. The other thing not to miss are the cherries on the tree in the front garden in June - they are the best cherries I've ever eaten!
