Book a Valuation Share:Following a thorough refurbishment in 2011, this house has been carefully and extensively improved by the current owners to create a striking period home, with stylish interior. The owners have made several significant improvements to the house, including rare single-pane aluminium panoramic doors, which lead to a beautiful urban edible garden. This garden has been given a lot of love over the tenure of the current owners, who have been rewarded through great harvests of pears, plums and cherries, to name a few. The house itself offers three double bedrooms over the first and second floors, with all benefitting from a peaceful and quiet outlook in this popular setting in Greenbank. Residents of this area benefit hugely from a great deal of green space nearby, including the cemetery opposite, but also Eastville Park and the Frome Valley walkway nearby. For commuters, this area is very well placed for getting into the City Centre by bike, train, bus or on foot, whilst for families, several highly-regarded schools, such as Whitehall Primary, are situated nearby. This property is offered chain-free. Contact Boardwalk Property Co. to arrange your viewing.

Local Area
This house is situated at the top end of Greenbank, close to Greenbank Cemetery. This particular pocket of just a few roads is in very high demand. The area is shielded from any through-traffic due to the position of Rosemary Green, Greenbank Cemetery and the Bristol to Bath Railway Path, which surround the area. Residents of this area are extremely complimentary about the neighbourhood and local community. The area benefits from its proximity to Bristol City Centre, two local train stations and the M32, making it very accessible to commuters. However, it is the amenities on the doorstep which have enhanced the popularity of the area. The independent shops and cafés of St Marks Road are a short walk away, with popular venues such as The Greenbank Pub, Dela and Este's Kitchen closer still. Families occupy many of the houses in this area, with many still looking to move to the area due to the recent success of the nearby Whitehall Primary (OFSTED: outstanding).

Our Seller Says…
We will remember fondly the eight years lived in this house. We loved it at first sight, as it provided a blank canvas to create a peaceful and serene home, and for its proximity to a train station, main bus routes, a cycle path, and to the shops on St Marks road, enabling us to live car-free most of the time. Over the years, we got to enjoy the quiet setting of being adjacent to the cemetery, and the amazing views from the main bedroom, looking over trees and reaching the cemetery chapel. The North-facing main bedroom enables a good night of sleep also by remaining cool in the summer, and easy to heat in winter. Over the years, we have invested a lot of efforts into creating an edible garden, and we have made numerous improvements to the house, always caring about the stylistic and architectural integrity of the house, and we sincerely hope that the next owner will continue to do so.
