‘This has been the ideal first home for us for 2+ years. The apartment is a stylish space for any new owners to make their own: LOTS of kitchen storage, modern flooring, fittings, and integrated appliances – everything you need to move in straight away. There’s also a lovely community feel here in Catherine’s House – we’ve always found our neighbours to be really helpful and considerate.
Bedminster is a prime spot for getting around and making the most of Bristol. Close to the vibrant harbourside area and the city centre (I used to enjoy a walk into town every day to get to work). The area is well served by bus – including one opposite the flat that takes you directly to Bristol airport.
Other amenities we’ve enjoyed have been Bedminster train station (<5 mins walk), Temple Meads (25 walk or 3 min train). We’ve also been grateful for Victoria Park on our doorstop, which has been ideal for meeting friends and daily walks.
There’s so much happening in Bedminster. North St. is close by, which has a range of lively bars, pubs and independent shops - including the tobacco factory market every Sunday. Very close to the flat, there’s also the new Bristol Loaf bakery – extremely popular and known for its delicious sourdoughs and cakes!
Working from home every day, we’ve definitely found space for the two of us. There’s plenty of room for a desk in the living area, and a deceptively large space in the hall to make the most of – it can easily fit an extra desk, or storage cupboards.
We’ve enjoyed our time at Catherine’s House, and hope the new owner/s can enjoy this apartment and Bristol life as much as we have.’
