"I’ve lived in this home for 8 years now and can honestly say that, given the choice, I wouldn't live anywhere else in Bristol. I’ve lived in various parts of Bristol over the last 30 years and Ashley Down quickly became my favourite area of the city.
The links into and out of the city are right there and there is a bunch of activity within a short walk or cycle. It's a 10 minute stroll to the heart of Gloucester Road with its shops, restaurants and bars but you're never far away from big, open outdoor spaces too. Narroways and St Andrews park are less than 10 minutes on foot for a sitdown with friends, and from Purdown you can trace the wooded Frome Valley all the way out to Frenchay and beyond.
You're absolutely spoiled for choice with good local pubs; The Lazy dog is the closest and does a fantastic Sunday roast. Similarly with dining, you've got an endless array of restaurants, cafes and takeaways close by; Dev's Kerala for South Indian, Pizzarova for Naples-style pizza, Jean's Bistro for some of the best Thai food in town, and places like Tinto Lounge, BTP and Grounded to meet with friends for a coffee.
You really get the best of what Bristol has to offer here!"
