Property details

'We knew this was the house for us the moment we walked into it, and what a fantastic 6 years it's been living here. The garden is the perfect spot for BBQs in the summer and we've spent many a winters evening cosied up by the log burner. A lot of love has been spent restoring some of the features hidden away in this house, and it'll be a bittersweet moment to move somewhere else. What we didn't know when we moved in was how amazing the community around us would be - such fantastic neighbours who we've got to know and spent lots of time with - having drinks on a sunny Friday evening and some amazing street parties! Greenbank is such a lovely area to live - quiet, and yet close to some amazing spots to eat and drink on St Mark's Road and Church Road, as well as green spaces like the cemetery and Eastville Park. We'll really miss Camelford Road.'

Located in the quiet pocket between Greenbank Road and Co-operation Road, Camelford Road is a highly desirable street made up of attractive double bay-fronted Victorian terraces. The area is shielded from any through-traffic due to the position of Rosemary Green, Greenbank Cemetery and the Bristol to Bath Railway Path, which surrounds the area. Residents of this area are extremely complimentary about the neighbourhood and local community regularly having street Whatsapp groups and street parties. The area benefits from its proximity to Bristol City Centre, a local train station, and the M32, making it very accessible to commuters. However, it is the amenities on the doorstep which have enhanced the popularity of the area. The independent shops and cafés of St Marks Road are a short walk away, with popular venues such as The Greenbank Pub, Matter Wholefoods, and Este Kitchen, closer still. Families occupy many of the houses in this area, with many more still looking to move to the area due to the nearby Whitehall and May Park Primary Schools.

'A lot of love has been spent restoring some of the features hidden away in this house, and it'll be a bittersweet moment to move somewhere else.'
