Property details

"One of my favourite things about Seneca Street is how calm and close to nature it is while being so close to the bustling Church Road. From my front door, it’s under 10 minutes walk to Troopers Hill Nature Reserve where I can watch the sunset over Bristol. Or, by carrying on along Conham River, I can have a gorgeous couple of hours long dog walk through leafy woodland. I even take a dip in the river there on hot summer days. Two minutes walk the other way and I’m at St Georges Park, where I meet friends on my lunch break.
I support lovely local businesses and treat myself to delicious bread, coffee, and deli produce at the various eateries on Church Road. I can enjoy a spontaneous glass of wine at the Red Church, eat the best roast in Bristol at the Lock Up and have a pint in the sun trap at the Dark Horse. I’m grateful to have pretty much everything I need on my doorstep but town is just a 25 minute walk away for gigs and restaurants. My neighbours are warm and friendly. We supported each other during lockdown and have since formed a lively WhatsApp chat where we share local information, borrow tools and plan get togethers like children’s street play-outs every other Friday afternoon."

Seneca Street is situated in St George, between Church Road and Avonview Cemetery, which occupies a large space above the River Avon and its riverside walks. St George’s Park is across Church Road from Northcote Road and is one of the city’s most popular parks providing a kids play area, tennis courts, a cafe, a skate park, and a lake. St George has many exciting independent shops, cafes, pubs and restaurants, with Northcote Road near to the very popular Poco Deli, Red Church and Orchard Café. On from this, the much loved Bristol Loaf and The Lock-Up are staples in this community. The shops and cafes of Easton are also easily accessible via the Bristol to Bath cycle path, including East Bristol Bakery, Garden of Easton, and Bristol Sweet Mart. There are several well-regarded schools in the area, meaning this is a popular area with families. For commuters, it is a short journey into Bristol City Centre by bus, bike or car, whilst also being just a short drive from Bath and the motorway networks as well. From this side of the City Centre, Bristol Temple Meads is just a short journey away.

A beautifully refurbished two bedroom mid terrace Victorian house situated on Seneca Street. On the ground floor, there is a reception room to the front with exposed brickwork to the fireplace and original coving. To the rear, there is a sunny dining room with a door leading to the rear decked garden. To the rear is the kitchen with exposed beams, shaker units and a Belfast sink. Upstairs there are two double bedrooms and a modern bathroom with metro tiles.
