"I absolutely love my little flat and as a first time buyer five years ago it felt like a great achievement to have my own place. Being a designer by trade I wanted a flat with character and was so happy when I viewed it for the first time as it had so much potential. The location was important to me and it’s perfect as it’s close the Horfield leisure centre and I could cycle to work and get the bus from outside the flat when the weather wasn’t so good. It also has the advantage of free parking outside, a rarity in the city these days! On weekends I would often stroll down Gloucester Road to the grocery and visit the lounge cafe and my favourite pub, the Royal Oak. There are many great pubs, cafes and independent shops in the area. I also enjoy running and there are lots of lovely running spots across the common and it’s not even too far to the Bristol Downs.
