"I really loved this flat when I first walked around it to buy it myself. It just felt like it could be our family home with these great high ceilings and a light and airy feel to it. It has beautiful windows and I particularly love the bay windows at the front of the house which lets in so much light. I had to have extra long curtains made to fit them. Our first meal was fish and chips on makeshift chairs in the kitchen and I still remember the evening light coming in before watching the sunset over the garden below through the kitchen window. Set over two floors with bedrooms upstairs the layout really feels like a house, with plenty of space for our first child to grow. The location is fantastic for nearby parks. St Andrews is one of my favourites, always busy with kids in the playground or people walking their dogs or out for a run. It even boasts an outdoor pool for kids in the summer, which they love. Gloucester Road is a two minute walk from the flat and offers independent coffee shops, bars, unique delis, selling the best olives, and an array of takeaways for every night of the week. The school catchment was also important to us and the schools in the area have good to excellent ratings. The road has a wonderful community spirit and we even have our own WhatsApp group."
