Our Sellers Say...
We have lived in the house since it was built 5 years ago and have absolutely loved our time here. It has been really difficult to find another property that we like enough in order to entice us to leave this house. In the summer the South West facing garden is amazing, and really hot even on just a warm day due to the projection from the surrounding wall. We made some changes to the garden to make it extremely easy to maintain, such as laying decking and artificial turf. The driveway is also very protected with the surrounding buildings, which is fantastic in the winter as it prevents ice from forming on the cars. We invested in some high end upgrades to the kitchen prior to moving in, plus flooring, lighting, the fitted wardrobe in the bedroom and towel rail in the bathroom. We had the house re-painted and maintained in the summer. The living space is great and it's been very easy to have guests stay, having an en-suite shower room to the main bedroom plus a separate guest bathroom upstairs. Finally, the location is excellent with the transport links and proximity to the shops.
The house is currently rated as a 'B' for both energy efficiency and environmental impact, according to the energy performance certificate. The estimated annual costs for water, heating and lighting are £416 for the year, but have potential to improve to £379, should the new owner wish to install solar power.
