Having North Street on my doorstep has been amazing. Being able to pop out for a coffee at Tincan, picking up quality locally sourced meat at Rare, fresh bread at Marks, veg at the veg shop and everything in between at the Tobacco Factory market is a dream. Of course, if you don't fancy cooking there are so many options. One of my favourites is Owwee and the flat is close enough so that you can head home and wait for the buzzer to go off to collect your burger!
The nightlife is great with an actual brewery 5 minutes away and a host of pubs along the way. Ashton Gate being so close has been great for the Rugby and summer series of gigs this summer. There is something going on every weekend if it isn't a market, an arts trail then its Upfest every summer.
I will certainly miss it when I move!
