This has been a wonderful place to live and we have been very happy here. Our immediate neighbours are very friendly and there is a real sense of community on Monmouth Street. The residents are a mix of all ages, with some having lived here all their life, while others have joined the street more recently.
Victoria Park is a beautiful spot with all neighbouring residents making the most of it! With events from Bonfire Night Fireworks displays to the Arts trail there is always something for people to get involved in. There is an abundance of great pubs close by, with the Victoria Park Pub being a personal favourite!
Another great bonus is Victoria Park and all it offers being right on our doorstep - especially ideal if you are a dog lover! Likewise, the range of good pubs and restaurants which have been refurbished over time and are now delightful – The Victoria pub and Florence restaurant are particular favourites of ours. There is also a yoga studio a minute walk away, as well as an Urban Gym close by.
With regard to the house itself, it is ideal for younger people starting out on the property ladder or for a young family. There is a lovely atmosphere, particularly with the dining and living room being made open plan. It is warm and cosy in the winter, but the double doors in to the garden make it great for entertaining in the summer.
