Montpelier is a brilliant and friendly area - the flat is on Picton St with Licata (the Italian Deli), Bianchi's, Gallifords, Radford Mill, Mr Lahey's and the Bristolian all on the doorstep! Plus, around the corner is Stokes Croft, with all it's many bars and restaurants. The Cadbury up the road is also a lovely pub, and good place to meet locals. It's also a great spot to get onto the motorway in the car or walk into town or to Temple Meads.
