Our Seller Says…
Living in Henbury House over the past four years has been lovely! As first time buyers, we didn't expect that we would be lucky enough to have a property with the space and unique character that this flat has. Being on the second floor with a view of greenery from every window means you don't feel like you're in a flat at all – it gives everything a sense of space.
It works well for commuting (we commute to Aztec West and the city centre) and is so close to the shops at Cribbs Causeway, Westbury on Trym or Crow Lane. Having friends and family in the South-West, the flat has been a great location for us with the M5 being so close.
We have thoroughly enjoyed being so close to Blaise Estate (especially during lockdown) as it feels like you are in the countryside in a mere 30 seconds – it is great for walks, runs, cycles, picnics etc. There is even a local group there (called the 'Friends of Blaise') who are resurrecting the building's original vegetable gardens and welcome new volunteers who fancy getting involved in planting. Approximately ten minutes away is the Canford Park, and we make full use of the free tennis courts during the summer.
We've really enjoyed getting to know the other residents of the building and get together for 'building drinks' at Christmas and in the summer. We have really enjoyed our time here and will miss it a lot.
The management company takes care of any external/communal works or repairs, but encourages the residents to be involved with ideas/suggestions. We meet every six months to discuss the building and next steps.
Awaiting updated EPC.
